SHEB is a voluntary, not-for-profit, non-governmental organization. Its function is to manage a certification system for the practice of hypnotherapy so as to promote public confidence in the qualifications of its practicing professionals and to advocate for the public's health, safety and welfare when choosing a hypnotherapist.
